Zap Zone (http://zap-zone.com) is the Michigan premier spot for family fun and entertainment. It consists of 9 locations, 4 of them have Escape Rooms (https://www.escaperoom-zone.com), which are intended exclusively for a more senior audience than the main section. I was invited to work as an Art Director at one of the locations, Zap Zone Waterford (http://zap-zone.com/waterford/). At the time I started working there, the company lacked a social media presence and needed to increase profits from its Escape Rooms.
The solution I offered:
1. Connect Escape Rooms from all locations using an "Escape Zone Passport".
How: Every escape room visitor gets a passport with his name and pictures of the 12 rooms from all the Zap Zone locations. After completing any of the rooms, he gets the picture stamped. By collecting all 12 stamps, he gets a Zap Zone lifetime membership as a reward. It will not only bring a potential target audience to Escape Rooms in each Zap Zone location, but also bring them to the main section of Zap Zone.
* Escape Zone logo was created prior to my employment, as well as pictures of the rooms, that I took from the official website.
2. Attract a new audience, such as groups of employees, since escape rooms are a great team building activity.
How: Use Linkedin as a social platform to target HR managers or others, who organize outdoor team building activities and corporate events.
In progress.
3. Find a suitable social media platform and create an account to promote Escape Rooms.
How: Create an Instagram account, based on posts describing different activities Zap Zone has to offer, including its Escape Rooms.
